The EPoL program serves as a cornerstone initiative in the Education Studies department. This intensive 12-month, cohort-based program, based in scenic Eugene, Oregon, integrates:
Foundational theories in education policy and leadership, Rigorous methodological and analytical instruction emphasizing quantitative approaches, Hands-on application of US education policy principles, data-driven decision-making, leadership strategies, and policy development, Plus opportunities for students to develop specialized knowledge in their chosen substantive and methodological areas.
Although structured as a one-year program, participants may opt for a two-year track, particularly beneficial for those balancing professional commitments with graduate studies. While on-campus attendance is mandatory, the program offers flexibility with select online course options.
