Each MA candidate is required to finish either a thesis or a final project, chosen in collaboration with their advisor. The Department of the History of Art and Architecture (HA&A) brings together students and faculty to study global history, culture, and society through art and architecture across different eras. Art history students learn to embrace cultural diversity and human creativity, becoming advocates for pluralism and understanding. In this program, you'll gain expertise in analyzing visual and material culture, preparing you to engage with global issues and connect historical contexts to modern international developments.
