At the University of Oregon, cultural anthropology offers multiple perspectives for examining culture and societal structures. Learners develop skills to link personal experiences with broader societal concerns, fostering intercultural comprehension and analytical social consciousness. Department scholars and graduate researchers explore various theoretical aspects of culture and society through ethnographic studies, historical analysis, cross-cultural comparisons, and interdisciplinary approaches. A Writing Sample. Provide one sample of your written work. The sample should indicate your potential as a graduate student and anthropologist, so choose carefully. Term papers, papers given at professional meetings, and papers submitted for publication are common choices.
Three (3) Letters of Recommendation from former professors or similar professionals who are in a position to evaluate your potential for successful completion of a graduate degree in anthropology.
TOEFL Score:- Minimum Score: 88 (Internet-Based).
IELTS Score:- Minimum Academic Score: 7.0 overall band score.
