The Graduate Certificate in Digital Humanities equips professionals across all fields with knowledge about emerging methodologies, technologies, models, applications, and theoretical approaches that are transforming research in humanities disciplines. This program enables participants to develop their comprehension of current digital humanities work through study, analysis, and dialogue while gaining practical skills through immersive experiences with actual applications. Faculty advisors will guide you in discovering how your personal academic interests align with various digital humanities specializations. No technical background is necessary, and the program welcomes applicants from diverse educational and professional contexts. Both currently matriculated graduate students and non-degree seekers (including OU faculty/staff, professionals from other academic institutions, non-profit sector workers, and independent researchers) may apply.

Qualification Requirements
All students who intend to pursue a graduate certificate must complete the online application for graduate admission. A student who is admitted to a graduate degree program is not automatically granted admission to associated graduate certificate programs (including embedded certificates). Students enrolled in a graduate degree program who intend to pursue a graduate certificate must apply to add the graduate certificate program.
Applicants must have earned at least a Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited university with a G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher. Conditional admission is not allowed for graduate certificates.
