This involves finding equilibrium between immediate and extended-term demands concerning employment, economic development, community welfare, and ecological preservation. Learners often show curiosity about the environmental impacts of people, institutions, and civilizations, along with strategies for improving global living conditions. The program equips participants with practical abilities to tackle pressing ecological and social challenges, such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) proficiency, analytical and spatial thinking, and satellite imagery interpretation. The curriculum offers adaptability through various elective courses and degree pathways. Participants can opt for either a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree specializing in these concentrations: Science and Natural Resources, Culture and Society, or Planning and Management.
