Students can choose study paths encompassing theoretical and applied mathematics, with flexibility to select courses aligned with their professional goals. The Master of Arts program is tailored for those aiming to earn a PhD and pursue careers in academia, corporate settings, or industrial fields.

The M.S. program equips students with profound mathematical knowledge and techniques applicable to diverse academic and professional paths. Meanwhile, the M.A. program readies graduates for doctoral studies and careers in higher education, business, and industry.

Beyond mathematical education, students can enhance their teaching abilities through specialized training for teaching assistants, covering all aspects of classroom instruction. Faculty research initiatives frequently receive funding from federal and private sources. Our professors regularly publish in prestigious journals, serve as industry consultants, and share findings at conferences. Their research spans diverse areas including chaos theory, dynamical systems, and topology.
