Fulfilling academic requirements, lab instruction, and clinical rotations makes you eligible for the ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) and meets Texas state licensing standards. Beyond on-campus training at the UNT Speech and Hearing Center, regional externship placements include over 100 locations such as pediatric and veterans' hospitals, private clinics, educational institutions, otolaryngology offices, and other healthcare settings.
