Our Ph.D. program aims to prepare students for conducting research in speech and hearing sciences. The curriculum focuses on building foundational knowledge and honing research capabilities for all participants. Numerous students utilize these research abilities to work with clinical groups. Typically spanning four to five years, the program combines coursework with research training, with initial years concentrating on classes and fundamental research development. In the first two years, students undertake two focused research projects similar to theses but more limited in scope, resulting in either a publication, presentation, or both.
