The Family Nurse Practitioner Across the Lifespan specialization equips nurses with skills to deliver primary care in family practice environments. FNPs deliver healthcare services to patients of all ages, emphasize wellness and preventive care, address future healthcare needs, and take leadership roles in ensuring high-quality care. After completing the program, graduates become eligible to take certification exams from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) to become Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioners. Graduates of this program are qualified to serve as primary care providers in various settings including (a) Primary Care Facilities, (b) Community Health Centers, (c) Public Health Agencies, and (d) Both Rural and Urban Healthcare Environments.
