Registered nurses with a Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited national program may qualify for postgraduate studies in Holistic Nursing. To pursue advanced practice nursing, candidates must complete three prerequisite courses within five years prior to enrollment: Advanced Assessment Didactic and Clinical (4 credits), Advanced Pathophysiology (3 credits), and Advanced Pharmacology (3 credits). If these courses were not part of the applicant's MSN curriculum, they must be completed at TSU before admission to the Holistic Nursing postgraduate certificate program. Earning the certificate requires passing 14 didactic credit hours (Nursing 5080, 5170, 5180, and 5190) in the Holistic Concentration along with 500 clinical practice hours.
