The department provides numerous seminars annually, complemented by ample chances for focused individual research projects. The graduate program spans five years. During the first year, all students enroll in an advanced logic course followed by an intensive proto-seminar (led by two professors). In their second year's second semester, students collaborate closely with a small committee to develop their MA theses. Rather than comprehensive exams, third-year students are assessed on their selected specialization area. While there's no universal language prerequisite, certain distribution requirements must be fulfilled.
Successful applicants will typically have a very strong background in philosophy, with a very high Philosophy GPA (usually 3.8 or higher).
The required minimum total score on the exams are internet-based TOEFL exam = 90, The IELTS exam = 7.
