The honors program welcomes exceptional students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science program for earth and environmental sciences. Admission requires maintaining a minimum 3.5 GPA overall and within EES coursework. Once accepted, participants must sustain at least a 3.25 GPA to continue in the program. To earn honors upon graduation, students must complete six credit hours of EES 4098 (senior honors thesis) and successfully defend their thesis orally before a faculty review panel.
