BSc in Elementary Education -Elementary Education and Mild/Moderate Disabilities in New Orleans United States | University of New Orleans

The Integrated to Merged (IM) dual certification serves as the foundational certification pathway within the mild/moderate disabilities program. This curriculum equips educators to excel in teaching students with mild/moderate disabilities, delivering elementary-level instruction, or specializing in core subjects (English/language arts, math, science, social studies). Undergraduates can simultaneously pursue certification for grades 1-5 in both elementary education and mild/moderate disabilities while completing their bachelor's degree.

This combined elementary education and mild/moderate disabilities program follows a competency-based training approach, incorporating multiple fieldwork components tied to coursework.
