The electrical engineering graduate program empowers students to thrive by engaging in analysis, design, development, or research within electrical and computer engineering systems, while keeping pace with cutting-edge technological advancements in specialized fields like communications, signal processing, power systems, control systems, and digital/computer systems.
The Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) program equips both students and working engineers with expertise in analyzing, designing, developing, or researching electrical and computer engineering across multiple technical domains. This program helps learners broaden and enhance their knowledge beyond undergraduate studies while developing adaptability to evolving technological landscapes. Candidates with sufficient electrical or digital/computer systems background can earn the MSEE degree by completing at least 30 credits of coursework and projects. When necessary, up to six additional bridge course credits may be required, with students receiving notification of these requirements during the admission process.
Applicants with a GPA of 3.0 or better in a baccalaureate program in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a closely related discipline from an ABET accredited program or equivalent will have the highest chance of being accepted into the program.
TOEFL of 75, or IELTS of 6.0, or PTE of 50 is required.
Application deadline: Spring Deadline - November 15 (Priority Application Deadlines).
