Connecticut's shoreline boasts an exceptional variety of species and habitats. Long Island Sound, among the planet's most intricate coastal estuaries, serves as an ideal natural laboratory - just a short distance from the University of New Haven. Through coursework and frequent field excursions, you'll explore global marine systems, terrestrial environments, diverse organisms, and humanity's complex relationship with these ecosystems. Our species has always depended on coastal and marine environments for sustenance, health, economic activity, and leisure. This interdisciplinary program, blending biological sciences, earth sciences, social sciences, and policy studies, will deepen your understanding of these vital connections.
Applicants must have official certified copies of senior secondary/high school records.
English Language Requirement: TOEFL score (80 IBT) or IELTS score (6.5) or a PTE score (53).
