If you're seeking career growth or a professional transition, our Direct Entry Master of Nursing (DEMN) program enables you to obtain advanced nursing credentials without needing an existing bachelor's or graduate degree in nursing. This program features the Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) specialization, equipping you for leadership positions in clinical settings where you'll address intricate patient care challenges across various healthcare environments. You'll collaborate with healthcare professionals to oversee patient care delivery, from designing treatment strategies to assessing their effectiveness.
The DEMN program can be finished in only five semesters, incorporating two summer terms. After your fourth semester, you'll qualify to take the NCLEX-RN exam required for Registered Nurse licensure. During your final semester, you'll complete the AACN's national Clinical Nurse Leader examination, earning both your master's degree and CNL certification simultaneously. The program includes an intensive 300-hour clinical immersion, followed by a 300-hour capstone experience to meet CNL certification requirements, providing substantial practical training in the healthcare field.
International applicants must hold a four-year baccalaureate degree or its equivalent as a precondition for applying to any of our graduate programs. In some cases, you may also need a master’s degree or its equivalent.
