The statistics Ph.D. curriculum offers a customizable blend of studies and research, aligning faculty specializations with student objectives. Faculty strengths encompass Experimental Design, Nonparametric Estimation, Model Selection, Time Series, Spatial Statistics, Bayesian Methods, and Big Data Analytics. Dissertation topics span from pure theory to practical applications, with strong emphasis on cross-disciplinary projects. Doctoral candidates often participate as research assistants in interdisciplinary initiatives while gaining experience through statistical consulting roles.
Applicants must have completed significant undergraduate coursework in mathematics and Statistics, including basic Statistics (for example, design of experiments), the standard Calculus sequence, and Linear Algebra.

Minimum score requirements are as follows: TOEFL (Computer-based): 213; TOEFL (Internet-based): 80; IELTS (International English Language Testing System): 6.5; TOEFL ITP (Institution Administered): On case-by-case basis; TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication): On case-by-case basis; Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: 59.
