If you aspire to become a professional artist or continue your education at the graduate level, our fine arts program equips you with comprehensive training in both art history and studio practice. Those accepted into the studio arts track can present a portfolio for B.F.A. consideration. Throughout your coursework, you'll explore diverse artistic mediums with access to specialized facilities like our sculpture, ceramics, and woodworking studios.
At UNH's fine arts program, you'll cultivate your artistic voice while acquiring essential skills for a sustainable art career. The on-campus Museum of Art and Paul Creative Arts Center, along with Portsmouth's vibrant arts scene just a short distance away, will fuel your creative growth.
Each student must have their official high school diploma or general equivalency diploma.
English Language Score:
Minimum TOEFL score is 80 (internet version), 550 (paper version), 213 (computer version); recommended minimum IELTS score is 6.5; recommend Duolingo score is 105 or higher.
