The MSW program aims to develop ethical, highly skilled advanced generalist social work leaders capable of thoughtful, independent practice in multifaceted settings with diverse populations. The Advanced Generalist Practice (AGP) specialization equips graduates to tackle challenges spanning various methods, systems, and practice areas. As outlined by the University of Nevada, Reno School of Social Work, AGP emphasizes: 1) pioneering leadership in problem-solving and transformation, 2) independent professional practice, and 3) applying comprehensive, research-based knowledge and skills to navigate complex issues in our evolving, diverse practice landscape.
