The graduate program aims to provide exceptional education in Hispanic languages, literatures, and cultures while equipping students with comprehensive foundational knowledge for specialized study. It also fosters scholarly and teaching expertise to enhance future research and career prospects.
Students can pursue a Master of Arts in World Languages and Literatures with a Spanish specialization.
Key program goals include preparing graduates to: Excel in doctoral or professional degree programs (Ph.D., M.D., J.D., etc.),
Obtain teaching roles at academic institutions, Advance in their current workplaces, or Pursue careers (such as foreign service with the State Department) where Spanish and Hispanic cultural expertise are highly valued.
Minimum score requirements: TOEFL: 550 (paper) or 79 (internet), IELTS: 6.5 (academic version).
