Our program provides Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Hispanic Literatures and Cultural Studies, offering comprehensive training in academic research and critical analysis while preparing students for diverse careers in academia, research, and specialized fields. Thirteen faculty members with expertise across multiple disciplines and theoretical perspectives guide students through the program. With an exceptional faculty-to-student ratio of roughly 1:3, learners build strong mentoring relationships with specialists in their chosen research areas. The department fosters a dynamic academic environment through guest lectures, visiting scholars, conferences, and collaborative research groups involving both graduate students and faculty. Senior graduate students share their ongoing research through a casual lecture series.
