The Master of Arts in Rhetoric, Composition, and Professional Communication (RCPC) equips students for professional roles in business, technical, and organizational communication across both private and public industries, as well as for teaching writing and communication in higher education. The program offers diverse coursework covering rhetorical history, theory, and teaching methods, along with communication theory, professional document analysis, design, and production, plus specialized subject areas. Students may pursue an optional internship in professional communication. Completion requires at least 30 graduate credit hours, culminating in a thesis or creative project (3 credits). Additionally, the English Department provides a PhD program in Rhetoric and Professional Communication.
