The M.A. program in Comparative Literature with a thesis option equips students for advanced academic pursuits or professional careers. The Writing, Rhetoric, and Composition Studies (WRaCS) Designated Emphasis enables PhD candidates to develop expertise for leadership positions in writing education, research, and program direction. This DE combines theoretical frameworks with practical training in writing pedagogy, administrative practices, and scholarly investigation. The program's focus on creating tailored teaching approaches and evaluation systems particularly benefits graduate students examining writing development at secondary and higher education levels.
