Boston University's Graduate Program in English and American Literature delivers thorough education across all facets of English studies. The MA program can be finished in two semesters of full-time study.
Neither a thesis nor comprehensive exams are mandatory.

Eight advanced courses (four per semester for full-time students)
Proficiency in one foreign language
Completion of one literary theory or history course
