The Dance major enables students to immerse themselves in intensive dance training while gaining profound knowledge of dance's historical roots, cultural significance, and performance traditions. Those who choose this major will merge intellectual and physical abilities to prepare for careers as performers, choreographers, teachers, arts administrators, or researchers. To maintain equilibrium between artistic expression, academic inquiry, and physical movement, Dance majors actively create, perform, and analyze dance throughout their studies, focusing on ongoing self-reflection and development as both artists and academics.
