The Glenn Korff School of Music features an extensive faculty and excellent facilities. The Westbrook Music Building includes a music library with around 55,000 books, scores, and periodicals, 18,000 recordings, plus computer listening and video stations. The school also provides a dedicated music computer lab and a cutting-edge music technology classroom with specialized software for composition, instruction, and notation. Performance venues include the Lied Center for Performing Arts, designed for large touring productions, and Kimball Recital Hall. Master's degree specializations include performance, music education, composition, music history, theory, conducting (orchestral/wind band/choral), jazz studies, woodwind specialization, and piano pedagogy. Doctoral programs focus on performance (applied instrument or chamber music), composition, jazz studies, and conducting. The Ph.D. program offers concentrations in music education, piano pedagogy, or vocal pedagogy. A music entrepreneurship certificate program is also offered.
