A bachelor's degree in women's, gender, and sexuality studies offers a strong grounding in both humanities and social sciences. Just as crucially, it develops your ability to analyze critically and imagine equitable solutions for everyone. The program fosters a tight-knit community of students who actively create positive change. Graduates emerge as analytical thinkers and skilled researchers with cross-disciplinary knowledge that prepares them for careers in non-profits, government agencies, and private sector roles. Our alumni hold positions at organizations like Planned Parenthood, Women's Voices for the Earth, the Missoula County Crime Victim Advocate Office, and the Northern Plains Council. Many WGSS graduates also advance to law school or pursue advanced degrees in social work, counseling, and related fields.
