To enroll in the Certificate program, candidates must satisfy the standard Graduate School admission criteria outlined in the graduate studies section of this Bulletin. The Certificate requires completing 18 credit hours, with at least 12 credits from core courses and 6 additional credits chosen from diverse offerings across eight disciplines. A maximum of 12 credits can come from any single discipline. Students pursuing a graduate degree may apply relevant credits from their degree program toward the Certificate requirements.
After finishing the program, certificate recipients will gain the ability to:
Analyze key cultural elements and their influence on international business practices
Combine global perspectives and cultural understanding with business decision-making
Demonstrate specialized knowledge of global operations in specific business fields like marketing or finance
Evaluate how cultural and environmental factors shape international business strategies
