Have a minimum of a 2.75 grade point average in their last 60 semester units attempted.
A personal statement.
A resume or curriculum vitae
Hold a Bachelor's degree, and wish to continue your graduate/post-baccalaureate studies in a graduate, certificate, credential or 2nd bachelor's program at Cal State LA.
Good academic standing at the last college or university attended,
a minimum of three letters of recommendation, including at least two from professors, and
a writing sample: well-developed term paper or research paper between 10 and 20 pages in length, and
a personal statement outlining interests and objectives in Pan-African Studies graduate work and other relevant experiences that would pertain to your graduate career (2-3 pages), and
a resume or vita
Grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.5 in an acceptable earned Bachelor's degree (or a GPA of at least 2.5 (out of 4.0) in the last 60 semester (or 90 quarter) units attempted) Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)- 80 ibT or higher, 550 pbt
International English Language Testing System (IELTS)- Band 6.0 or higher
