The graduate certificate in higher education administration aims to provide a deeper comprehension of the higher education institutional environment while developing essential skills and technical expertise needed for efficient administration and governance (including areas like budgeting and finance).
This standalone certificate program is open to both current graduate students and post-baccalaureate students not pursuing a degree. The 12 credit hours completed for this certificate can be transferred toward a Master of Education, Master of Arts, or Doctor of Philosophy degree with a focus on higher education, provided students gain admission to one of these programs. All courses required for the certificate are currently part of existing master's and doctoral curricula.
