The Department of Educational Leadership provides three academic programs: the Master of Education, Education Specialist, and Doctor of Education degrees. Each program equips graduates for leadership roles requiring both theoretical knowledge and practical skills across local, state, and national levels.
The Master of Education in Instructional Leadership features three specialization tracks: Licensure, Non-Licensure, and Career and Technical Education (CTE) Teacher Leaders. The Licensure track serves aspiring school principals, while the Non-Licensure option prepares instructional leaders for administrative roles in various educational settings including schools, universities, corporate training programs, and community organizations. The CTE specialization focuses on leadership positions in secondary education, state departments of education, and technical colleges.
