The former Molecular Pathogenesis & Therapeutics (MPT) program has evolved into the Infection & Immunity track within the Translational Biosciences Graduate Program (TBS). We encourage prospective students to apply through the multi-track TBS Program.

This program educates future scientists in Immunology, Microbiology, Virology, and related therapeutic approaches. Over 50 research labs employ advanced techniques to pioneer discoveries in viral infection patterns, cancer immunology, transplant medicine, vaccine development, microbial disease mechanisms, autoimmune disorders, genetic therapies, vector-borne illnesses, immune cell signaling, microbiome research, and other cutting-edge areas.

Applicants are selected for admission into the MPT program based on their potential to conduct high-quality, independent research. To be considered for admission, applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or institution, as well as a good academic record with a 3.0 minimum GPA.
