The Division of Animal Sciences offers a comprehensive educational curriculum, with faculty recognized for their outstanding instruction and student guidance. Our graduate program has consistently grown or sustained its enrollment, funding, and job placement success throughout the last five years. The Division works to cultivate a diverse faculty capable of delivering pertinent instruction across five specialized fields (reproductive and environmental physiology, ruminant and monogastric nutrition, genetics/genomics, meat science, and livestock production) and six animal categories (swine, dairy cattle, beef cattle, poultry, companion animals, and horses), preparing graduates for careers in research, academia, and industry across the nation.
