The Master of Science in Natural Resources with a specialization in Soil, Environmental and Atmospheric Sciences equips students for research and teaching roles in academia or advanced scientific professions. Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree to enroll in this MS program. Under faculty guidance, students perform original research with support from a master's committee. The program encourages professional engagement through conference presentations and seminars. Degree candidates must submit a thesis and are encouraged to publish findings in peer-reviewed journals. Alternatively, students may choose a non-thesis path involving extra coursework and a research project.
