The MCDB and G MS program features a genetic counseling specialization that combines specialized coursework with hands-on training in medical genetics diagnostic labs and supervised clinical practice involving patient and family care. Those enrolled in this track may join the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) initiative. Beyond laboratory training, we recognize that fostering relationships is vital for student achievement. Our graduate curriculum includes designed experiences—from intensive off-campus orientations to student social gatherings—to cultivate bonds with classmates and professors.

Anyone who has or will obtain a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in the U.S. or a comparable degree from an officially recognized college or university outside the U.S. may apply for graduate admission.
