Qualification Requirements
Applicants must have completed a baccalaureate degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university with
A cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 for your entire undergraduate career or
A grade-point average of at least 3.0 for your last two undergraduate years or
Exceptional work in your entire final undergraduate year (3.5 or better)
Graduate work with a minimum grade-point average of 3.0 or better even if the undergraduate grade-point average meets the above criteria.

The reference writers will be sent an email link to upload the letter into the online application portal
If you are not a native speaker of English, evidence of proficiency in the English language must be submitted.
Personal Statement of Purpose
This document should tell your program's admissions committee everything you would like to reveal in a personal interview.
You should include your reasons for why you've selected the UConn Health Care Genetics Program, what made you decide to undertake graduate work, and a bit about your ultimate plans/goals, if you've decided. Let the admissions committee read specifics about you, tell us details about your academic, experiential and logistical preparation for our program in particular.

Minimum overall scores of 79 (Internet-based test – iBT/ iBT Home Edition), 550 (Old Paper-based test – PBT) or 22/30 on each of the Listening, Reading, and Writing sections (''New'' Paper-based test- PBT) or higher on the TOEFL test. (TOEFL Essentials is not accepted.)
Personal Statement
A minimum overall score of 6.5 or higher on the IELTS Academic Test
A minimum overall score of 53 or higher on the PTE Test.
