The Design Graduate Program explores the connections between people and their created surroundings. This curriculum covers theoretical foundations, investigative methods, and practical implementation, drawing from artistic disciplines along with social and behavioral sciences. Students learn to examine, assess, and synthesize conceptual models concerning human interactions with designed spaces. The program offers four specialization areas: Apparel Studies, Graphic Design, Housing Studies, and Interior Design. Available degrees comprise Master of Arts (MA), Master of Science (MS), Master of Fine Arts (MFA, exclusively for Graphic Design), and Doctor of Philosophy. A post-graduate Housing Studies Certificate option is additionally available.

Anyone who has or will obtain a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in the U.S. or a comparable degree from an officially recognized college or university outside the U.S. may apply for graduate admission.
