Our three-year MFA program focuses on both the conceptual and technical aspects of artistic creation, while exploring art's role within wider social and historical frameworks. The curriculum blends studio practice with critical analysis, leveraging the resources of a research university environment. We prioritize producing exceptional creative work while fostering professional artistic development. The program encourages innovative thinking, technical mastery, historical awareness, and experimental engagement across various media forms.
Anyone who has or will obtain a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in the U.S. or a comparable degree from an officially recognized college or university outside the U.S. may apply for graduate admission.
The preferred undergraduate GPA for admittance to the program is 3.00.
