Space physics combines principles from physics and astronomy to study the conditions around Earth. It explores various phenomena, ranging from energetic charged particles in Earth's plasma environment to the Sun's magnetic energy eruptions. Our research group focuses on deciphering how particles gain tremendous energy within our solar system's natural plasma environments. These acceleration processes prove remarkably effective, producing particles with exceptionally high energy levels. By analyzing particle-electromagnetic field interactions and plasma collective behaviors, we advance our understanding. Our methods involve direct wave and plasma measurements alongside remote X-ray observations of solar and magnetospheric plasmas.
