The Urban and Regional Planning Program collaborates with the Stephen M. Ross School of Business to provide an integrated dual degree pathway, allowing eligible students to simultaneously earn a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP). This accelerated program can be finished in three academic years of full-time enrollment. Tailored for aspiring professionals in urban real estate development, municipal management, or global urban economic renewal, the curriculum prepares graduates to enhance urban livability, optimize public sector efficiency, and drive economic growth in underserved communities. Business School participants typically specialize in real estate finance, corporate strategy, entrepreneurial ventures, or organizational management, while Urban Planning students frequently concentrate on housing initiatives, transportation systems, economic revitalization, or global development projects.
