Qualification Requirements
The Graduate Urban Design Certificate is open to professionals and graduate matriculated and non-matriculated students. Students can start the program in any semester but are strongly encouraged to contact an advisor and apply early in the process.
Students who hold a bachelor's degree or higher from a college or university accredited by a regional or general accrediting agency and have at least a B average in undergraduate course work or otherwise give evidence of promise that is judged satisfactory by the admitting program.
Submit unofficial transcripts from all colleges and universities attended At the time of application UC requires one of two forms of transcript submission.
An upload of your full unofficial transcript documentation showing cumulative GPA that also includes if applicable marks sheets diploma and translation showing completion of a US four-year bachelor's degree or what is considered to be the equivalent to a US four year bachelor's degree OR
Submission of a document-by-document or general transcript evaluation by a NACES member commonly used members include IEE Josef Silny and Associates SpanTran, WES, etc. international applicants only.
The following exams and minimum scores are accepted as proof of English proficiency -
TOEFL minimum score of 80 iBT
In-person and at-home online exam scores accepted TOEFL Essentials and My Best Test scores are not accepted.
IELTS minimum score of 6.5 overall band.
In-person and at-home online exam scores accepted.
PTE minimum score of 54.
