The Master of Science in electrical and computer engineering is designed for students aiming to deepen their expertise in specific areas of the field. Earning this graduate degree requires a modest time commitment but opens doors to enhanced career prospects and substantially increased earning potential. Both the MS (Master of Science) and MSE (Master of Science in Engineering) share identical curriculum requirements - the distinction lies primarily in the degree title. Engineering undergraduates may choose either option, while non-engineering bachelor's holders qualify only for the MS program. Analog integrated circuit research focuses on developing energy-efficient, high-accuracy sensor interfaces, RF communication systems, wireless telemetry solutions, and rapid analog-to-digital conversion. VLSI digital circuit investigations encompass microprocessor design, mixed-signal microcontroller development with power efficiency and performance optimization, along with CAD tools for logic synthesis, physical layout, verification, testing methodologies, innovative logic architectures, packaging techniques, IC microarchitecture, and system-level integration.
