The University of Michigan's Master of Science in Dental Hygiene Program equips dental hygienists with expert faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, and flexible curriculum options to advance their careers. As dental hygiene evolves through educational reforms, healthcare transformations, and technological innovations, the demand for master's-level practitioners grows increasingly vital. U-M offers this graduate program through two distinct formats: the On-Campus Master's Program combines online coursework with in-person classes at the Ann Arbor campus, while the Online Master's Program enables students to complete their degree entirely through digital learning. The program's core mission focuses on developing future oral health leaders, fostering research across basic, behavioral, and clinical sciences, and promoting service to the university, profession, and broader community.
