The Department of Biological Chemistry provides one-year Master's Programs aimed at comprehensively educating future pioneers in biomedical sciences. Our graduates gain excellent preparation for careers in industry or admission to top-tier graduate or medical schools. Students can choose between two specialized study paths tailored to their objectives and interests. This intensive two-semester curriculum combines rigorous biochemistry coursework with hands-on research culminating in a written thesis. Ideal for those looking to enhance their expertise and research background, the program serves as a stepping stone for career advancement or admission to prestigious Ph.D. or medical programs. Research-focused students are advised to start laboratory work with their faculty mentor before the Fall semester, especially if planning to apply to graduate programs during their Master's studies.
Completion of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (before matriculation into the master’s program)
