Taubman College, known for its interdisciplinary approach, motivates students to broaden their academic horizons beyond architecture and urban planning. The institution provides pathways for students to earn combined degrees, such as the M.Arch./M.Eng. dual degree program. This structured curriculum integrates architecture with construction engineering and management. Students can complete either a two-year (60 credits) or three-year (105 credits) M.Arch. alongside a one-year (26 credits) M.Eng., culminating in a two-and-a-half-year (73 credits) or four-year (118 credits) program, respectively. The program allows up to 13 credits to be applied toward both degrees.
Applicants complete a bachelor’s degree from a U.S. college or university accredited by a regional accrediting association; or complete an international degree that is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree from a college or university recognized and approved by the Ministry of Education or Commission responsible for higher education in the country where the degree is earned.
