The Master's program in Community & Social Change (CSC) develops globally conscious leaders, researchers, and change-makers who empower and collaborate with community organizations. The program's foundation rests on the belief that effective community leadership requires expertise in research, theory, and practical application. We cultivate community-focused leaders and advocates for social justice by teaching students to transform their understanding of individual, organizational, and community wellness into tangible action through research, consultation, and direct engagement.

This 30-credit graduate program covers research methodologies, program assessment, community wellness, organizational transformation, and social change implementation. CSC courses offer scheduling flexibility for working professionals and students unable to move to South Florida, with compact core classes typically meeting monthly on weekends. This format allows students to pursue career and volunteer opportunities while studying. Full-time students typically finish in 18-24 months. For those considering advanced study, we provide a 36-credit Thesis Track featuring a research project to strengthen doctoral program applications. Upon completion, graduates earn a Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed) degree.
