The Frost Percussion Program aims to enhance and broaden our percussionists' skills, equipping them to surpass the rigorous musical challenges of modern times.

Our program's foundation combines cutting-edge knowledge from faculty members with students' ability to learn seamlessly from multiple professors. While solo and orchestral performance are central to musical growth, both areas are connected through the vital role of conductor-free percussion chamber music.

Graduate students enjoy the unique chance to specialize in orchestral or solo percussion through a tailored curriculum, while continuing lessons with all professors and participating in chamber music.

This progressive and imaginative learning environment positions us as leaders in contemporary percussion education. It enables Professors Svet Stoyanov and Joseph Petrasek to realize their goal of cultivating not just percussionists, but well-rounded musicians.
