The International and Global Studies (B.A.) program offers students the chance to integrate insights from multiple academic fields to examine critical issues spanning national and cultural borders. This program is tailored for those who wish to explore current and emerging global challenges while gaining insight into diverse national and cultural approaches to solving them. It also supports students pursuing careers in the Foreign Service, federal agencies, international organizations, or private-sector roles abroad. Key program goals include: (a) understanding major debates within the international arena; (b) mastering fundamental economic, historical, cultural, geographic, and political concepts of global systems; (c) achieving proficiency in a modern foreign language; (e) developing skills to research and present scholarly work on international topics; (f) participating in at least one hands-on learning experience with an international focus.
All students, both freshmen and transfer, must apply online for admission as an undergraduate student.
Applicants should upload a copy of their unofficial international transcript or marks sheet (high school/secondary or college/university) using our secure document upload system.
