The Data Science BS/MS accelerated program is a combined degree track that allows eligible students to obtain both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Data Science simultaneously. Through this accelerated pathway, participants may enroll in up to 9 credits (three graduate-level courses numbered 500 or above) that count toward both their undergraduate technical electives and future graduate requirements, shortening the total time needed to earn the MS degree. Typically, undergraduate students apply for this program during their junior year's second semester (the sixth semester of their bachelor's studies). Benefits of the BS/MS program This intensive Data Science program caters to driven, high-achieving undergraduates seeking graduate-level education. The accelerated BS/MS option provides: enhanced scheduling flexibility for meeting graduate prerequisites, a smooth progression into the Master's program, the potential to finish MS requirements within one year after completing the BS, and optimized academic planning for greater educational efficiency.
