Information Technology is deeply embedded in today's business landscape, serving as the backbone of organizational operations. Various sectors undergo constant evolution through technological advancements: financial services, insurance, e-commerce, entertainment, medical fields, academic institutions, tourism, marketing, and transportation represent just a handful of domains being reshaped by digital innovation and data accessibility. The computing and data science specialization equips students with core competencies for these tech-driven industries while simultaneously exploring the managerial impacts of these technologies. Given technology's rapid evolution, the curriculum frequently updates with new course offerings.

NYU Stern School of Business provides a STEM-designated Bachelor of Science program that merges top-tier business training with liberal arts education. This dual approach blends essential business coursework with comprehensive liberal arts studies, preparing emerging leaders with the knowledge, capabilities, and critical thinking required for success in modern commerce. The program focuses on international outlooks, ethical practices, corporate citizenship, alongside developing strong communication and collaboration abilities. Instruction comes from distinguished professors and renowned business experts across New York, the nation, and globally.

Stern undergraduates can select electives throughout NYU to expand their academic horizons. They may opt for a secondary specialization or additional major in Arts & Sciences covering diverse fields from behavioral sciences to creative disciplines, or pursue minors at Steinhardt (Culture, Education & Human Development), Tisch (Arts), Tandon (Engineering), or Silver (Social Work). The school also provides numerous interdisciplinary minor options in partnership with Arts & Sciences, Steinhardt, Tisch, and Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. Additionally, Stern offers extensive international study programs including semester exchanges and intensive global learning experiences.
